What services do you provide?

We provide the following services:

Lifestyle: Personal Training, Yoga, Pilates, dance class, boxing

Wellbeing: mindfulness, energy healing, breath work, mental health therapy

Beauty: Massages, Facials, Make-up, Hairstyling, Manicures and Pedicures.

 

How does The BYOU app work? 

The BYOU app provides highly qualified partners with at least 3 years of experience. BYOU Mental health therapist has more than 5 years of experience.

The services on demand can be providing services at your home, office, hotel, events, or at the location of our partners.

We provide the best services with the aim of increasing your freedom and wellbeing.

You only have to use your mobile phone.

 

How do I pay? 

If you have made a booking with the BYOU app or website widget, you will be automatically referred to a payment method by Stripe. (iDEAL and Credit Card).

 

What if I need to cancel my booking? 

 It is possible to cancel at any time by sending an email to info@byou-app.

Please mention your booking reference number (which can be found in the confirmation email) and the reason for cancellation. 


A cancellation can be made free of charge up to 24 hours before the appointment time. After this point, you are required to pay the full booking price as per the terms and conditions.

 

What if my expert does not arrive on time or cancels the booking?

We do everything we can to ensure that your expert can complete your booking, so you get your moment of happiness when you need it. However, under rare circumstances, it is possible that the expert is unable to make the appointment and needs to cancel. The procedure hereafter is clearly detailed in the terms and conditions. Can I book for more people? 

Yes, this is only possible by email. Please send us an e-mail with your question. Our customer service will then make the necessary arrangements.  

 

Can my chosen service be replaced with another service?

If you change your mind about the service you would like, please reach out to us via info@byou-app.com or +1 707-563-9050 (also available on WhatsApp) so we can arrange the right service for you.

 

Safety 

The BYOU app is a platform for self-employed experts to offer their services to busy clients in the comfort of their own location they want to choose. May this be at your home, office or at the location of the Expert. We’re committed to making the platform a safe and trusted place for everyone that uses it. Detailed below are our existing policies to maintain a  safe and healthy community. 


Safety through community
We want self-employed experts to feel proud of the community they’re part of at BYOU, and for app users to book treatments at home with confidence. That’s why we undertake a series of pre-vetting measures before giving self-employed experts access to the platform. We check their:

Identity
We check that their name and likeness match their formal identification and other documents as required by law. 

Experienced and certificated:

They need to have at least 3 years of experience and be certificated to do the service. Mental health therapists need to have at least 5 years of experience.

Insurance
They must also have a valid insurance policy covering an expert indemnity.


Hygiene and COVID-19 safety
Experts must prove that they have the necessary personal protective equipment as required by their government’s COVID-19 guidelines for safe home working. In case of symptoms, both the consumer and the expert must cancel the booking.

What is the BYOU Partner app?

The BYOU Partner app is an easy-to-use platform that helps partners grow their businesses.

We create a community of clients and conveniently connect them with one of our BYOU Partners with the help of our BYOU App.

For clients, we ease their lives by bringing quality services straight to their doorstep, anytime, anywhere.

For our partners, we provide opportunities to widen your customer base; we optimize your business in mobile size.

 

What do I get from being a BYOU Partner?

Experts get exposed to numerous customers who need on-demand and quality professional services. We let you enjoy what you love doing while we take care of the rest. With the help of our App, we give our Partner access to personable agenda, booking and payment facilities. Our App also protects you from last-minute cancellations, making sure that your valuable time does not go to waste. The User may alter bookings up to 12 hours prior to the booking, and may cancel up till 24 hours priorly. If the User cancels your booking less than 24 hours before it was scheduled, you as an Expert will get paid the full price.

 

How do I Join BYOU Partner Community?

The BYOU Partners screening process includes the submission of your CV and relevant certificates and a virtual interview. Once we get to know you and what you can do, you and The Luxury Beauty will decide together whether we are a good match. Qualified Experts will be welcomed to the community through our simple onboarding process. We’ll make sure you have access to your BYOU profile and provide you with all the information you need to

What do I need in order to qualify as a BYOU Partner?

 We want to make sure that our customers get the quality services they deserve. In order to achieve this, we need our Experts to be certified professionals with at least 3 (3) year work experience in their related expertise. You should have your work licence or have the intention of Applying for one as soon as you decide to join us.

 

What are the working hours like?

Your working hours are up to you. With the help of your BYOU Partners agenda, you can decide how many hours you want to work. We don’t ask you anything about what you should do or how many hours you should work. Freedom is our core value.

How often do I need to update my BYOU Partners agenda?

You get booked when Users see your availability in the BYOU Partners App agenda. The more frequently you update your agenda, the easier it is for Users to book your services and plan their agenda too. The requirement is to update your agenda at least 6 to 8 weeks in advance.

 

Do I work with my own equipment?

Our BYOU Partners are entrepreneurs, who know the tools that are best for their craft. Hence, we expect you to have your own equipment ready.

 

Can I set my own prices?

Yes, you are encouraged to! We know that your service prices may be different from other BYOU Partners. We also want to make sure that you get paid for costs like parking, transportation and other costs that come with your service. Make sure to put those costs in when setting your own prices.

 

How do I get bookings?

You will receive your bookings via the BYOU Partners app. Your app notifications must always be switched on so that you can respond to and confirm your bookings as soon as possible. We aim to respond to booking requests as soon as they are received. It’s best to respond no later than one hour after you have received the booking notification.

 

What if the consumer directly wants re-book with me?

 It is natural to create a positive customer relationship with the User, especially when they are satisfied with the first booking! However, it is prohibited to exchange contact details with the Users. You are expected to redirect the Users to re-book via BYOU for future bookings, as The Luxury Beauty has built the customer base for you. Any violations on direct re-bookings will be subject to dismissal of the Expert’s account in the BYOU app immediately and may lead to the Partner risking a fine. How and when do I get Paid?

BYOU Partners sign up for a Stripe Account once they are fully onboarded. We use Stripe to collect payments from Users and to pay our Partners. Your payment will be transferred to your bank account a week later.

 

What if I need to cancel a booking due to health and emergency reasons?

BYOU avoids booking cancellations as much as possible, but unforeseen events and emergencies can happen, for both Users and Experts. We need to be informed of any event that can lead to cancellation as soon as possible by calling our company number.

Is my information secure when joining BYOU Partners?

Absolutely! BYOU uses various security measures, protocols, and checks to keep your data safe. Our App includes a messaging feature that allows you to communicate with customers without disclosing contact information.

What COVID-19 measures are in place for BYOU Partners?

BYOU values health and safety as our top priority. Partners must follow the health and safety COVID-19 guidelines of the country you are in.

 

How many hours in advance can I be booked?

A User can be booked up to 2 hours in advance. If you have put in availability in the App, you should keep into account that you can be booked 2 hours before and should be able to accept the request.

 

May I receive tips from a customer?

Yes, you may accept tips from the clients! This can be done in cash, or any other payment option you want. 

 

How long does an average service last? 

On average treatment takes 60 minutes. This varies per treatment and you can change the desired time in the app. It's all up a to you what you want to provide.

 

Can I set my travel times? 

Yes, you can! You can set the travel time for each service in the app. This way you can't be booked for 2 hours in a row.

 

How do we guard my safety? 

 In case of serious emergencies please call immediately.
