5 Self Love Rituals To Practice This Valentine’s.

Valentine’s Day is well known as a day to celebrate love. Did you know that love does not only have to be romantic?

Yes, you read that right. It can be a day when you celebrate a very important relationship: the one you have with yourself.

For many people, self-love is not a priority. It is not given the same depth and even investment as other romantic and platonic types of love.

But how do you show yourself love? Many people seem to ask themselves this question.

In this article, we will give you a few rituals you can use to celebrate this great day. Even with all the love around you, you can still use it and pour it into your cup.

1. Write a love letter to yourself.

We all love love letters, right? We get to read the nice things other people say about us in the letters.

On Valentine’s Day, you can take that day and write a lovely letter to yourself. You can make sure that you write all the great things you like about yourself.

It can be the way you carry yourself, your looks, your heart, and even the way you carry yourself. Do not be afraid to write about your good qualities.

When you do so, you get moments of self-reflection and self-appreciation, which builds your self-love.

2. Have a solo dinner date.

If you do not have a date on Valentine’s, you can take yourself out to one. You can choose a hotel or even make some nice food at home.

As you cook and eat, you can think of the different things you love about yourself. Afterward, you can go on a solo movie date and watch a comfort show.

You get to do the things that make you happy and keep building on your self-love.

3. Wear clothes that make you feel your best.

We all know that clothes play a big role in making you confident. You will find that there are clothes that you wear and you want to walk everywhere with them.

There are also those that you wear and want to hide away from public view. If you are going to work on that day, you can ensure you dress as your best self.

4. Do some mirror work.

Before dashing out to work or even a date, you can do some mirror work. You can stand in front of a mirror and say self-love affirmations to yourself.

●     I am beautiful.

●     I am worthy.

●     I radiate love.

These are some of the words you can say. You can also add others that affirm the self-love you have for yourself.

Regarding mirror week, it may feel a bit awkward when you start. As time goes on, however, you see the results.

It is very healing and helps you feel connected with yourself.

5. Book a session with a holistic wellness practitioner.

Valentine’s Day can also be when you start your healing journey. You can choose to work with a healer of your choice.

For example, you can book a session with a therapist, energy healer, nutritionist, or physical trainer. As you heal, you are also on a journey of connecting with and loving yourself.
